Overview
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Plumber to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge and practical experience in plumbing systems, with the ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team. This role involves installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing infrastructure across various commercial and residential sites. Candidates should be comfortable with heavy lifting, operating power tools, and adhering to safety standards. A valid driving licence for commercial driving is desirable. Duties

Installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems in accordance with industry standards and safety regulations
Using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and assembly techniques to complete tasks efficiently
Conducting routine inspections to identify potential issues within plumbing infrastructure
Reading technical drawings and blueprints to ensure accurate installation and repairs
Performing heavy lifting of materials and equipment safely during installation or maintenance tasks
Applying basic maths skills for measurements, calculations, and adjustments during work processes
Collaborating with carpenters or other tradespeople when necessary for integrated project completion
Ensuring all work areas are kept clean and organised following health and safety protocols
Operating commercial vehicles when required for transporting materials or equipment between sites

Experience

Proven experience in plumbing installation, repair, or maintenance within commercial or residential settings
Proficiency with welding techniques relevant to plumbing applications is advantageous
Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and assembly processes used in plumbing work
Mechanical knowledge related to pipe fitting, fixtures, valves, and related systems
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently over extended periods
Experience with carpentry or basic construction tasks is beneficial but not essential
Valid driving licence suitable for commercial vehicles is preferred
Basic understanding of health and safety regulations relevant to plumbing operations
