Full job description

The Company:

Talisker Bay is a family business, focussed on manufacturing high quality equine products for local and international markets. We are looking for full time staff to join our professional and friendly production team.

We request that any candidate looking to be considered for this position attach a cover letter along with their CV and any references. Applicants must be able to work consistently to a high standard of quality.

The Role:

A variety of tasks in the warehouse and production facility: from packaging orders to producing our range of horse treats and toys.
Work as part of a well trained team.
Tasks are physical and repetitive.
10 hour shift on 4-day week (Mon-Thu).
Overtime often worked on Friday mornings, paid at Time+25%

Training:

Production Assistant - first months will be spent training, and understanding the unique processes.
Production Operator - you will be working alongside the production team producing finished products for international and domestic orders.
Advanced training is available to those who show ability and interest
Training will be provided by our experienced Team Leaders
Also provided are Forklift Operator Training, First Aid Training and Fire Marshall Training.

Applicant requirements:

Physically fit
Can work as part of a close team
Good communication skills
Ability to learn and follow company procedures
To ensure good housekeeping is maintained
To be aware of all aspects of Health & Safety
