Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Kitchen Porter to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced culinary environment. The Kitchen Porter will play a crucial role in supporting the kitchen staff by ensuring that the kitchen is clean, organised, and well-equipped for food preparation. This position is ideal for individuals looking to gain experience in the hospitality industry.

Responsibilities

Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen and food preparation areas.
Wash, dry, and store kitchen utensils, pots, pans, and dishes.
Assist with food preparation tasks as directed by chefs or cooks.
Ensure that all kitchen equipment is cleaned and maintained properly.
Help with stock rotation and inventory management of kitchen supplies.
Support chefs during busy service periods by providing assistance as needed.
Adhere to health and safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a culinary or hospitality setting is preferred but not essential.
A keen interest in food preparation and the culinary arts.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
