The Role
We are looking for a dedicated Production Technician to join our manufacturing team at Steatite Antennas in Leominster.

In this hands-on role, you will support the construction, assembly, testing and production of bespoke RF and electrical products used within demanding and mission-critical environments. Working within a technical manufacturing setting, you will help ensure the highest standards of quality, precision and reliability are consistently achieved.

This is a full-time, site-based permanent position.

Working Hours - 07:00 - 17:00 Monday - Thursday

Key Responsibilities

Interpret technical instructions and engineering drawing packs
Assemble RF and electrical products using hand and power tools
Inspect components, sub-assemblies and finished products to ensure quality standards are met
Carry out soldering and intricate assembly activities
Test finished products and diagnose faults where required
Convert stock materials into production components
Maintain accurate production records and report issues
Support continuous improvement and collaborate with other departments
Ensure safe working practices and adherence to company procedures

Skills & Experience

Previous experience within a manufacturing, assembly or production environment
Background within an electrical or mechanical discipline desirable
Ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical documentation
Strong manual dexterity and attention to detail
Soldering experience and assembly skills
Strong problem-solving and organisational abilities
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
Positive, adaptable and solution-focused approach
