Full job description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Master Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain a wide range of vehicles and mechanical systems. The ideal candidate has advanced technical expertise, strong diagnostic abilities, leadership skills, and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship and customer service.

Key Responsibilities

Perform advanced diagnostics on mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and computerized vehicle systems
Repair and maintain engines, transmissions, brakes, suspension, steering, HVAC, and electrical systems
Use diagnostic tools, scanners, and technical manuals to identify issues accurately
Conduct inspections and preventative maintenance services
Test drive vehicles to verify repairs and ensure proper performance
Mentor and support junior technicians and apprentices
Maintain accurate repair documentation and service records
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company procedures
Communicate repair findings and recommendations to service advisors and customers
Stay current with evolving automotive technologies and manufacturer updates

Qualifications

5+ years of professional automotive repair experience
Strong understanding of modern vehicle systems and diagnostics
Ability to operate diagnostic software and shop equipment
Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
Strong problem-solving and communication skills

Preferred Skills

Experience with hybrid and electric vehicle systems
Leadership or shop foreman experience
German vehicle experience2
Welding or fabrication experience is a plus

Pay: £36,000.00 per year

Work Location: In person
