Full job description

Palm Yorkshire is one of the leading repairs and maintenance companies in Yorkshire. We are a family run business with over 20 years’ experience in the industry.

We specialise in contracting for local authorities and social housing providers in and around Yorkshire

We are recruiting for an employed electrician to grow our existing team.

This is not a temporary position.

The Role:

Duties will include carrying out wiring and repairs to heating systems, planned maintenance & general repairs, upgrading void social housing properties, and associated testing to domestic properties across the Yorkshire Region.

The ideal candidate:

Highly competent professional who takes pride in their job
Possesses excellent customer service skills
Ability to use own initiative and solve problems
Have excellent time management.
Maintain the highest levels of on-site Health & Safety and Environmental standards at all times.
Maintain a customer focused and first-time right approach.

To be considered for this role you will need:

NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation
C&G 236 Part 1 & Part 2 or equivalent
18th Edition of BS7671
Inspection and Testing Qualification (2391 or 2394/2395) - Desirable
ECS Card - Desirable
Previous experience working within domestic properties - essential
Driving Licence

Dependant on employment or sub contract, successful applicants will receive:

Company vehicle with fuel card
Full uniform and PPE
Overtime when business demand is high
20 days annual leave plus statutory holidays
Company Pension scheme
DBS Check
Paid training
Test meter
