Guardian Angel Carers Mid Sussex is run by Pip and Amal Bhurrut, local healthcare professionals, who are passionate about providing the very highest standards of care to people in our community. We are an extremely professional, friendly and supportive team, and we're looking for caring, reliable individuals to join us.

Flexible Working Patterns That Work for You. We understand that everyone has different commitments, which is why we can often tailor your working days and shift patterns to suit your weekly schedule.

We are particularly interested in speaking with people who are looking to work approximately four shifts per week, typically:

Morning shifts (7:00am – 2:00pm)
Evening shifts (4:00pm – 10:00pm)
Including at least one weekend day

Examples of preferred working patterns include:

Tuesday & Wednesday, then Friday & Saturday
Sunday & Monday, then Thursday & Friday

Working consecutive days allows you to build meaningful relationships with your clients and provides a wonderful sense of continuity and consistency in the care they receive.

Where You'll Be Working - Our clients live across: Haywards Heath, Lindfield, Cuckfield, Burgess Hill, Hassocks and Ditchling.

As you'll be visiting clients in their own homes, you must hold a full UK driving licence and have access to a vehicle for work.

What We Offer Our Care Assistants:

£14.15ph (weekdays) | £15.50ph (weekends) | £21.23ph (bank holidays)
Paid mileage - 40p per business mile

What You'll Be Doing as a Care Assistant - Every day is different, but your role may include:

Companionship and social interaction
Accompanying clients to appointments and outings
Meal preparation
Medication support and administration
Personal care, including bathing and showering
Applying lotions and creams
Dressing and grooming support
Hair care, shaving support and assistance with appearance
Light household duties
Continence care
