Full job description

Volunteer Photographer

Location: Three Bridges, Crawley
Commitment: 2–3 hours per session (flexible volunteer opportunity)
Expenses: Reasonable travel expenses will be reimbursed

About the Opportunity

We are looking for a Volunteer Photographer to support our local community church while gaining valuable hands-on photography experience. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build their portfolio, improve their photography skills, and contribute to a meaningful community organisation.

Responsibilities

Capture high-quality photographs during church services and community events.
Take photographs of ministers and speakers on stage during services.
Capture natural and engaging images of congregation members participating in worship and community activities.
Ensure images reflect the welcoming and inclusive atmosphere of the church.
Share photographs with the church team after each session in a timely manner.

Skills and Experience

Entry-level or intermediate photography skills.
A passion for photography and a desire to develop and improve your skills.
Basic understanding of camera settings, composition, and lighting.
Ability to capture candid moments as well as posed photographs when required.
Reliable, professional, and respectful when working around congregation members and church activities.
Own camera equipment is preferred but not essential.
