With a close-knit team of around 250 colleagues including 25 Partners across offices in Edinburgh, Glasgow and London, Turcan Connell’s comprehensive service covers everything required for efficient tax, estate and succession planning and advises on the many aspects of land and property management and transactions. We also handle the complexities of divorce and family law, employment law and dispute resolution advice as well as providing a range of business law services to our clients.

Opportunity

We have a new opportunity for a Client Experience Assistant to join our Office Services team who provide a smooth and efficient service in the day to day running of internal and external client areas.

The role is based part-time in our Edinburgh office and is on a permanent basis. The core hours are Monday to Thursday 1pm to 5pm and Friday 11.30am to 5pm, 21.5 hours per week.

Our Client Experience team are responsible for ensuring tea/coffee/refreshments are set in the client suite meeting rooms as necessary, clearing away cups/glasses etc and keeping meeting rooms tidy and presentable at all times. The team are also responsible for configuring of boardrooms as per operational requirements, removing/adding tables, and chairs to the rooms. Ensuring all meeting rooms are setup according to individual booking requirements for each meeting or event to ensure smooth turnover of rooms in between meetings.

The Client Experience team ensure the filling of colleague coffee machines with milk as required and carrying out machine cleaning processes to ensure these always remain fully operational. Keeping colleague kitchen and breakout spaces clean and presentable throughout the day. Keeping an eye on colleague coffee & tea level stock and liaising with Client Experience Team Lead to order sufficient stock.

The team provide adhoc coverage and support for reception during busy periods and colleague absences; greeting and directing clients upon their arrival.

Skills/Qualifications

You should be flexible, self-motivated, highly competent, and able to work on your own initiative.

The successful candidate will have strong customer service experience and excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and colleagues across the business. You will have an excellent client focused manner and ability to deliver a client always focussed service.
