Full job description

Overview
We are seeking a friendly and professional Bartender to join our vibrant hospitality team. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for delivering exceptional customer service, creating a welcoming atmosphere, and ensuring guests enjoy their experience. This role offers an opportunity to work in a lively environment, showcasing your skills in serving and hospitality while maintaining high standards of food safety and responsible alcohol service. Previous restaurant experience is advantageous, but a positive attitude and strong time management skills are essential.

Responsibilities

Prepare and serve a variety of beverages accurately and efficiently, adhering to standard recipes and presentation standards.
Engage with guests in a friendly and professional manner, providing excellent customer service throughout their visit.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations.
Monitor guest alcohol consumption responsibly, recognising when to refuse service in accordance with legal requirements and company policies.
Manage cash register operations, including processing payments accurately and issuing receipts.
Restock bar supplies as needed, ensuring all stock is stored safely and correctly.
Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operation during busy periods, demonstrating effective time management skills.
Uphold health and safety standards at all times, including proper handling of glassware and cleaning procedures.

Requirements

Previous experience in hospitality or food service environments is preferred but not essential; a willingness to learn is equally valued.
Knowledge of food safety regulations and responsible alcohol service practices.
Strong serving skills with an understanding of customer needs and behaviour.
Basic maths skills for handling transactions accurately.
Excellent time management abilities to prioritise tasks efficiently during busy shifts.
Good organisational skills to keep the bar area clean and well-stocked throughout service.
A personable attitude with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests. This role offers an engaging work environment where your hospitality skills can flourish while providing memorable experiences for our guests. Pay: From £12.71 per hour
