Store Manager – Vision Express Clapham Common

Lead a premium optical business. Inspire a high-performing team. Deliver exceptional customer experiences.

We're looking for an experienced Store Manager to lead our Vision Express store in Clapham Common. This is a unique opportunity to manage a successful Joint Venture store, leading from the front and creating an environment where both colleagues and customers thrive.

Following a recent refit, the store is in excellent condition and provides a fantastic setting to deliver the premium service Vision Express is known for.

What You'll Do

Take full responsibility for the day-to-day leadership of the store and team
Lead, coach and develop colleagues through regular 1:1s and performance conversations
Create a culture focused on exceptional customer service and patient care
Drive NPS, commercial performance and key business KPIs from the shop floor
Lead by example, inspiring your team to deliver outstanding results
Ensure the store operates to the highest standards of compliance, presentation and service
Partner closely with the Joint Venture Partner to support continued success and business growth

What We're Looking For

Experience as a Store Manager, Assistant Store Manager or equivalent leadership role
A strong customer service background in retail, hospitality or another customer-focused environment
Proven ability to lead, coach and develop high-performing teams
Experience conducting effective 1:1s and managing performance positively
Strong commercial awareness and a track record of delivering KPI results
A hands-on leader who enjoys being present on the shop floor
Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate and inspire others
