Overview

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Painter and Decorator to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for transforming spaces through expert painting and decorating techniques, ensuring high-quality finishes that enhance the aesthetic appeal of residential, commercial, or industrial environments. Your skills will contribute to creating inviting, professional, and visually appealing spaces that meet client specifications and safety standards. Duties

Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, filling holes, and applying primers to ensure optimal adhesion of paints and finishes
Apply paints, varnishes, wallpapers, and other decorative coatings with precision and attention to detail
Interpret project specifications and work closely with clients or project managers to achieve desired outcomes
Use a variety of tools such as brushes, rollers, spray guns, and scaffolding safely and efficiently
Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and disposing of waste materials responsibly
Conduct quality checks throughout the process to ensure smooth application and flawless finishes
Communicate effectively with team members and clients to update progress or address any issues promptly

Experience

Proven experience in construction painting or decorating roles with a strong portfolio of completed projects
Familiarity with different types of paints, coatings, wallpapers, and decorative techniques
Ability to read technical drawings or project plans accurately
Valid driving license preferred for transportation between sites
Strong communication skills in English to collaborate effectively with team members and clients
Knowledge of safety protocols related to working at heights or using power tools is essential
Prior experience working in diverse environments such as residential homes, commercial buildings, or industrial facilities is advantageous

Pay: £180.00-£250.00 per day
