Full job description

Overview

We are seeking a friendly and efficient Bar Attendant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for delivering excellent customer service in a relaxed environment, with experience in food and beverage service, POS systems, and food safety standards. This role offers an opportunity to work in a busy hotel, providing guests with quality beverages while ensuring smooth operations. Prior experience is highly valued.

Responsibilities

Greet guests warmly and take orders accurately.
Serve food and drinks efficiently, maintaining high standards of food safety and cleanliness.
Handle cash transactions with accuracy, including cash handling and cashiering duties.
Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, including restocking supplies and ensuring compliance with food safety regulations.
Manage multiple tasks effectively through strong time management skills during busy periods.
Assist in setting up and breaking down the function areas for events or shifts, including banquet or catering services if applicable.
Provide exceptional customer service by addressing guest inquiries and ensuring a positive experience.
Follow all health and safety guidelines related to food handling and hospitality standards.

Qualifications

Previous experience in food service, restaurant, retail math, or hospitality environments preferred.
Strong customer service skills with an emphasis on hospitality and serving guests in a hotel bar/ restaurant se.
Basic math skills for cash handling and retail math calculations.
Knowledge of food safety procedures and proper food handling techniques.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively during shifts.
Experience with catering, banquet service, Join our team to deliver memorable guest experiences while working in a dynamic environment that values professionalism and teamwork!

Pay: From £10.90 per hour
