About Bob & Berts

Bob & Berts is an independent coffee shop brand with big ambitions. Born in Portstewart in 2013, we’ve grown from one neighbourhood coffee shop into a growing UK wide brand – and we’re entering an exciting new phase of expansion. We’re looking for a Marketing Manager to join our marketing team and play a key role in making that ambition happen.

This is a hands-on, commercially focused role for someone who loves turning ideas into action. You’ll work closely with the Head of Marketing to bring our marketing strategy to life – planning campaigns, managing our marketing calendar, driving loyalty and supporting new store openings – making sure everything gets delivered brilliantly.

You’ll be the person who keeps the marketing engine running.

The Role

As Marketing Manager, you’ll be responsible for turning our marketing priorities into well planned, well executed activity that delivers results.

You’ll work closely with the Head of Marketing to develop and deliver the annual marketing plan, taking ownership of campaigns and projects from initial planning through to execution and evaluation.

You’ll work across the business, collaborating with Operations, store teams and external partners to make sure marketing activity is joined up, commercially relevant and delivered on time.

You’ll also work closely with our Senior Creative Designer, providing clear creative briefs and ensuring creative thinking translates into effective marketing activity.

This is a role for someone who is organised enough to manage the detail, organised enough to own projects and commercially minded enough to understand why we’re doing them in the first place.

What You’ll Be Doing

Marketing Planning & Campaigns

Support the Head of Marketing in developing and delivering the annual marketing plan

Own the day to day delivery of key marketing campaigns and initiatives

Develop campaign plans, covering objective, audiences, channels, activity, timelines and measurements

Manage the marketing calendar and ensure activity is planned, priorities and executed effectively

Coordinate campaign activity across social, loyalty, in store, digital, PR and other channels

Work with the Senior Creative Designer to develop strong creative briefs and bring campaigns to life

Coordinate campaign approvals, production and implementation

Evaluate campaign performance and identify learnings and opportunities for improvement Customer Loyalty

Support the development and execution of our CRM and loyalty strategy

Plan and deliver customer communications across email, app and other channels

Develop targeted activity for different customer segments and occasions

New Store Openings

You’ll own the marketing delivery for store openings, working with the wider team to:

Develop local marketing plans - Co-ordinate pre opening activity

Manage launch campaigns and promotional mechanics

Identidy local PR, partnerships and community opportunities

Coordinate influencer and content activity where appropriate

Support launch events and opening weekends

Deliver post launch activity, designed to build awareness, customer acquisition and repeat visits

Review launch performance and apply learnings to future openings

Social & Content

Manage the social and content calendar

Develop content plans aligned to wider marketing activities

Brief and coordinate creative content with the Senior Creative Designer

Identify opportunities to make our content more engaging, relevant and distinctive

Report on social media key metrics and use those insights to improve what we do

Project Management

Manage marketing projects from brief through to completion

Build and maintain project timelines and delivery plans

Coordinate internal stakeholders and external partners

Keep teams informed of priorities, deadlines and responsibilities

Chase actions and keep projects moving

Ensure marketing activity is delivered on time, within budget and to a high standard

Reporting & Marketing Effectiveness

Track and report on campaign and channel effectiveness

Monitor KPIs across campaigns, CRM, social, loyalty, store openings and other activity

Turn data and insights into clear recommendations

What We’re Looking For

We’re looking for someone who combines commercial thinking, creativity and excellent organisation.

You’ll ideally have:

3-5 years proven experience in a Marketing Manager or similar role

Experience developing and delivering integrated marketing campaigns

Strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously

Experience working across multiple marketing channels

Eperience working with CRM and/or loyalty programs

A good understanding of social media and content marketing

Experience working with creative reams and briefing designers

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Excellent attention to detail

The confidence to work with stakeholders across different areas o the business

A commercial mindset and an understanding of how marketing contributes to business growth

Experience analysing campaign performance and using data to improve activity

The ability to work at pace in a growing business
