We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Seamstress/Tailor to join our team. The Seamstress/Tailor will play a crucial role in ensuring customer satisfaction through high-quality workmanship.
Responsibilities
- Perform alterations and repairs on various types of garments, ensuring a perfect fit and finish.
- Utilize sewing machines and hand-sewing techniques to create, modify, and repair clothing items.
- Collaborate with customers to understand their specific requirements and provide tailored solutions.
- Conduct fittings with clients to assess garment adjustments and make recommendations as needed.
- Maintain an organized workspace, ensuring all tools and materials are readily available for efficient workflow.
- Stay updated on current fashion trends and garment construction techniques to enhance skills and service offerings.
Skills
- Proficiency in using sewing machines and hand-sewing techniques is essential.
- Strong understanding of garment construction principles and fashion retail practices.
- Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with clients regarding their needs.
