Full Time | Roadside Garages | Coleraine

Roadside Garages is one of Northern Ireland's leading family run motor retailers and has proudly been recognised as one of the UK's Best Dealerships to Work For for three consecutive years.

As we continue to grow, we're excited to recruit an Alloy Wheel Technician to join our brand new alloy wheel refurbishment unit in Coleraine.

If you take pride in your work, have a keen eye for detail and enjoy working in a hands on environment, we'd love to hear from you. Previous experience in alloy wheel refurbishment or a similar automotive role is beneficial, but not essential, as full training will be provided for the right candidate.

Successful candidates will demonstrate:

An interest in alloy wheel refurbishment or previous experience in a similar role
Experience with painted and diamond cut alloy wheels is desirable but not essential
Good mechanical knowledge and confidence using power tools
Excellent attention to detail and pride in producing high quality work
The ability to work both independently and as part of a team
A positive attitude with a willingness to learn
The ability to carry out physically demanding tasks safely
A strong understanding of workplace health and safety
A professional manner and commitment to excellent customer service
A full UK driving licence

The role will involve:

Refurbishing painted and diamond cut alloy wheels to a high standard
Preparing wheels through sanding, filling and surface preparation
Painting, lacquering and refinishing alloy wheels
Operating refurbishment machinery and workshop equipment safely
Inspecting completed work to ensure it meets our quality standards
Maintaining a clean, organised and safe working environment
Working as part of a team to deliver quality workmanship and excellent customer satisfaction

Working Hours

Monday to Thursday: 8:30am to 5:30pm
Friday: 8:30am to 5:00pm, with an early finish.
