Job Description
To ensure Glen Caring Service Users receive delivery of care in accordance with company policies and procedures and in line with company Aims and Objectives. He/she is responsible for carrying out quality monitoring, caring tasks, health and safety risk assessments in line with legislation and company policies and procedures, staff monitoring and spot checks on behalf of the company.
(20 hours per week flexible weekend work as and when will be required)
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
1. To carry out service quality monitoring on behalf of Glen Caring, including onsite visits and Service User telephone monitoring.
2. To attend Service User reviews and contract monitoring reviews.
3. To follow up and record any issues/complaints that may arise with Service Users or relatives including the referring of complaints to the Registered Manager for investigation.
4. To refer all information gathered through monitoring to the Registered Manager for auditing purposes and to make recommendations for improving on any under-performance identified, via a monthly quality monitoring report.
5. To monitor staff and Service Users in accordance with quality monitoring schedules and monitoring standards.
6. To carry out Health and Safety risk assessments in line with legislation and company Health and Safety Policy.
7. As part of the business continuity plan, you will be required to participate in the covering of rotas and hold the on-call phone as and when required
8. Cover the office as and when required
9. To promote the Aims and Objectives of Glen Caring as defined in the company Statement of Purpose.
10. To adhere to all company policies and procedures.
11. To maintain the confidentiality of information as per company Confidentiality Policy and GDPR Legislation.
12. To attend Care Management reviews when required.
13. To report to the Registered Manager regarding quality issues or concerns regarding any part of the company systems and processes.
14. To ensure reports, action plans and quality improvement plans are completed and submitted within agreed scheduled times.
15. To participate in performance reviews and development planning.
16. To work in all areas and locations as business needs dictate
17. There must be an element of training and education to implement onsite corrective actions with staff.
Pay: £14.50 per hour
