Office & Procurement Assistant

Location: Blagdon, Somerset / Hybrid

About Us

Artichoke is a luxury interior design and architectural joinery company, crafting bespoke interiors for exceptional homes. Our commitment to craftsmanship, design integrity, and thoughtful storytelling sets us apart. We are looking for an Office & Procurement Assistant to support the smooth and efficient running of our offices and wider day-to-day operations.

Key Responsibilities

Manage day-to-day office consumables and supplies.
Order IT equipment and general office kit, with larger CAPEX purchases signed off by Commercial Manager/MD.
Liaise with suppliers to obtain quotes, place orders, track deliveries, and resolve basic queries.
Assist the Project Co-ordinator and Contracts & Procurement team with administrative procurement tasks (raising purchase orders, chasing confirmations, updating trackers).
Assist in evaluating supplier performance relating to quality, reliability, and service levels.
Collate and print O&M/care manuals, client packs, and other documentation as required.
Prepare meeting materials, agendas, and minutes where required.
Arrange catering and logistical support for meetings and client visits.
Keep procurement and office records up to date and well organised.
Represent the company’s brand values when liaising with suppliers and external contacts.

Desirable Skills & Experience

Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
Reliable, proactive, and able to manage time effectively.
Confident communicator with a friendly and professional manner.
Comfortable liaising with suppliers and colleagues across departments. I
T literate (Microsoft Office: Outlook, Excel, Word; training provided for Synergist).
Previous experience in an administrative or purchasing role desirable.
Interest in design, interiors, or office operations a plus.
