About us
We are Colombia Coffee Roasters, a family-run specialty coffee company sourcing, roasting and serving single-origin Colombian coffees since 2012.
We are based in Oxford, where all our coffee is roasted in-house and distributed through our cafés, roastery and online store.
Sustainability, traceability and long-term relationships with producers are at the heart of everything we do. We work directly with coffee farmers across Colombia to ensure quality, consistency and responsible sourcing.
From sourcing in Colombia to roasting in Oxford and selling online and in our cafés, we manage the full coffee journey to deliver freshness and quality in every cup.
Who Are We Looking For?
We are looking for a proactive, highly organised and commercially minded Operations & Growth Coordinator to support the smooth running and growth of our business.
This is a varied, hands-on role in a small but growing company. The position combines e-commerce, wholesale coordination, inventory management, supplier follow-up, marketing coordination and business improvement projects.
This is not a purely e-commerce role. The right person will be comfortable working across different areas of the business, keeping things organised, following up on tasks and helping turn ideas into action.
You will work closely with the General Manager* and Marketing Team* to coordinate priorities, execute growth initiatives and ensure smooth communication between the roastery, online store, wholesale customers and the three shops. You will also coordinate with the Head Roaster and shop teams to make sure stock, product launches, campaigns and day-to-day operations are aligned.
Your Responsibilities
Your role will focus on coordinating and improving the performance of our online business.
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Managing and processing online orders through Shopify, ensuring products, pricing, stock and content are accurate and up to date.
- Supporting wholesale orders, customer requirements and coordination with the roastery team.
- Managing and updating inventory across the roastery and shops, including green coffee, roasted coffee, packaging, takeaway cups, lids, matcha supplies, retail products and other operational items.
- Monitoring stock levels, identifying low-stock items and coordinating replenishment to ensure the roastery can supply all three shops.
- Coordinating with suppliers, requesting quotes, comparing prices and helping evaluate options based on cost, quality, reliability and sustainability.
- Working closely with the General Manager to coordinate business priorities, follow up on operational tasks and support growth initiatives.
- Working alongside the Marketing Team to coordinate campaigns, content creation, photo shoots, video shoots and promotional activity across the three shops and roastery.
- Ensuring marketing plans are aligned with stock availability, product launches, Shopify updates, wholesale needs and operational capacity.
- Supporting product launches, promotions, seasonal campaigns and other commercial initiatives.
- Helping implement practical improvement projects, such as sustainability initiatives, customer gifts, new retail ideas, packaging, labels or operational improvements.
- Preparing simple weekly updates on sales, stock, orders, supplier activity and ongoing projects.
- Using spreadsheets and reporting tools to keep information organised and support better business decisions.
- Communicating clearly with the Head Roaster and shop teams to make sure tasks, stock requirements and business priorities are followed up and completed.
Requirements
You have these skills and experience:
- Experience with Shopify or similar e-commerce platforms.
- Strong organisational and coordination skills.
- Confidence using spreadsheets and keeping accurate records.
- A commercial mindset and interest in business growth.
- Good communication skills and confidence working with different teams.

- Confidence contacting suppliers, requesting quotes and comparing options.
- Interest in coffee, food, hospitality, retail or consumer brands.

- Interest in coffee, food or consumer brands is a plus.
