Established in 2014, Direct Connect Logistics Ltd is a growing transport and logistics company operating a fleet of 7.5-tonne and 18-tonne vehicles from our sites in Bicester, Northampton and Knutsford. Despite our continued expansion, we pride ourselves on maintaining a friendly, family-business culture where every team member is valued.
As part of our ongoing growth, we are looking to recruit an additional Transport Coordinator to join our busy and supportive team at our Bicester depot.
The Role
This is a key position within the business, responsible for supporting the day-to-day transport operation and helping to ensure excellent service delivery to our customers.
Working closely with the wider team, your responsibilities will include:
- Coordinating and managing drivers to ensure jobs are completed efficiently and on time
- Liaising with customers and drivers to maintain high levels of communication and customer satisfaction
- Bidding on and securing potential transport jobs
- Monitoring schedules and responding effectively to operational demands
- Supporting the smooth running of transport operations in a fast-paced environment

Desirable Experience:
- Knowledge of UK geography and transport routes
- Understanding of driver hours and transport legislation
- Previous experience within the transport or logistics industry
