SFM ENGINEERING ARE CURRENTLY RECRUITING AN ASSEMBLY OPERATOR

SFM Engineering have an excellent reputation in the Engineering industry and have been an established Engineering and Manufacturing company for 19 years. SFM Engineering is based in Keady, Co. Armagh.

Essential Criteria:
1. A minimum of 1 years fitting experience.
2. Previous experience with using hand tools and power tools.

Key Tasks and Duties:
1. Assemble conveyors and hoppers using detailed drawings and standard operating procedures.
2. Using hand tools, power tools, craneage and machinery to assemble conveyors and hoppers.
3. Ensure all components are properly fitted and aligned during assembly.
4. Operating and maintaining assembly line equipment and machinery.
5. Use of overhead cranes to transport and move parts and sub assembled conveyors.
6. Perform quality checks at various stages of the assembly process.
7. Complete quality inspection reports on completed conveyors and highlight any defects or discrepancies.
8. Organise parts and materials needed for the assembly of a sub assembled conveyor.

1. To adhere to SFM Engineering’s policies and procedures.
2. To carry out any other duties within reason and capability associated with this role.
