Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and professional Tanning Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will deliver exceptional guest services, promote our tanning and beauty treatments, and assist in creating a welcoming environment. This role offers an exciting opportunity to utilise your skills in customer service, social media management, and beauty treatments within a vibrant, client-focused setting. The Tanning Consultant will be responsible for managing appointments, upselling products and services, and ensuring clients enjoy a personalised experience. Previous experience in hospitality, management, or beauty therapy is advantageous but not essential, as training will be provided.
Responsibilities
- Greet clients warmly and provide outstanding guest services to ensure a positive experience.
- Assist clients with tanning procedures and recommend suitable products or treatments based on individual needs.
- Manage front desk operations including scheduling appointments, processing payments, and maintaining client records.
- Promote and upsell additional services such as eyelash extensions, deep tissue massages, makeup application, or other beauty treatments.
- Manage social media platforms to engage with clients and promote special offers or new treatments.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the treatment area to ensure health and safety standards are met.
- Support management with daily operations and contribute to a welcoming atmosphere for all guests.
- Stay informed about the latest trends in beauty therapy and skincare to provide expert advice to clients.
Requirements
- Strong communication skills with the ability to connect effectively with clients.
- Experience in customer service, hospitality, or front desk roles is preferred.
- Knowledge of social media management is desirable for promoting services.
- Skills in management or team leadership are advantageous but not mandatory.
- Additional skills such as eyelash extensions, deep tissue massage, makeup application, barbering, or other beauty treatments are a plus.
- Ability to upsell products and services confidently while maintaining excellent guest relations.
- Organised with good time-management skills to handle multiple client appointments efficiently.
- A professional attitude with a passion for the beauty industry and delivering exceptional guest experiences.
