Overview
We are looking for a proactive and adaptable Office Administrator who is willing to roll up their sleeves and support across all areas of the office when needed. This is a varied role suited to someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys being part of a close-knit team.
The Role
You will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day running of the office, handling administrative tasks, managing correspondence, maintaining company records, raising production orders, and coordinating with internal teams and suppliers. You’ll also assist with general office organisation, employee onboarding administration, and ensuring office procedures run smoothly.
This is a position for someone who is happy to “muck in” and contribute across multiple functions to help keep the business running efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Providing general administrative support across the business
- Managing phone calls, emails, and day-to-day correspondence
- Raising and processing production orders
- Maintaining and updating company records and documentation
- Assisting with employee onboarding and personnel administration
- Organising office operations, supplies, and equipment
- Supporting compliance with company procedures and office policies
- Coordinating with internal teams and external suppliers where required
- Assisting with ad hoc office duties and supporting the wider team when needed
Skills
- Previous experience in office administration or a similar role would be nice but not essential
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Highly organised with good attention to detail
- Comfortable multitasking and prioritising workload
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- SAP knowledge or experience using similar ERP systems would be advantageous
- Typing qualifications/certificates would be advantageous
- Knowledge of office management systems and procedures would be beneficial
- A hands-on, “muck in” attitude with a willingness to help across the business
