Following the launch of our new showroom in Banchory and continued growth across hot tubs, swim spas, saunas and outdoor living products, Deeside Hot Tubs & Outdoor Living is looking for a new team member to join us on the next stage of our journey.
We are a family-run business serving customers across the North-East of Scotland, providing hot tub sales, servicing, relocations, swim spas, saunas and outdoor living solutions.
We're looking for someone who enjoys variety, takes pride in their work and is passionate about delivering outstanding customer service. Previous hot tub experience is not required as full training will be provided.
The Role
This is a varied position split between our showroom and working on-site across Aberdeenshire and the wider North-East.
One day you may be helping customers in the showroom, planning delivery routes and organising installations, while the next you could be delivering a hot tub, carrying out a service visit or supporting a relocation using specialist equipment.
No two days are the same.
Responsibilities
- Delivering and installing hot tubs, swim spas and outdoor living products
- Carrying out scheduled servicing, maintenance and water care visits
- Assisting with hot tub relocations using specialist equipment
- Supporting customers with product demonstrations and handovers
- Assisting customers visiting our showroom
- Answering customer enquiries by phone, email and social media
- Organising installation, delivery and service schedules
- Planning efficient delivery routes across the North-East of Scotland
- Updating customer records using company software systems
- Preparing products and equipment for installation
- Maintaining company vehicles, tools and equipment
- Providing exceptional customer service at every stage of the customer journey
Essential Requirements
- Full UK driving licence with a clean driving record
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Comfortable using computers, apps and online systems
- Good organisational and time management skills
- Reliable, professional and self-motivated
- Physically fit and comfortable undertaking manual work
- Comfortable working both indoors and outdoors throughout the year
- Willingness to learn new skills and take on new challenges
Desirable Experience
Experience in any of the following would be advantageous but is not essential:
- Sales or customer-facing roles
- Logistics, route planning or scheduling
- Plumbing
- Electrical work
- Construction or trade experience
- Delivery driving
- Mechanical or technical fault finding
- CRM, booking or scheduling software
Working Pattern
This role is typically spread across five days per week.
Current working days are generally Wednesday to Saturday with one additional flexible day, although working patterns may evolve as the business continues to grow.
Some flexibility will be required during busy periods.
