Full job description

We are currently seeking an experienced Executry Assistant or Paralegal to join our team on a part-time basis. In this role, you will independently manage a caseload of executry files,

You will work with the private client team based in Banff in all aspects of executry work, managing executry cases, Confirmation applications and Inheritance Tax forms. There will be a high degree of direct client contact. You will be able to work independently and handle your own caseload, under supervision, as well as working with the team to provide excellent client service.

The successful candidate should ideally have at least 2 years’ experience in an executry role.

Our ideal candidate will have relevant formal qualification(s), preferably as recognised by the Law Society of Scotland Accredited Paralegal scheme or at least 2 years’ experience dealing with executries. We are looking for a candidate with excellent interpersonal skills, both written and oral, good organisational skills and the ability to prioritise tasks.
