Job description Fabricator / welder
- To be qualified as fabricator / welder and have a minimum of 5 years experience in this position preferred.

- To fabricate, assemble, and weld steel and stainless steel components based on engineering drawings.
- To be familiar with using emails, apps and communication software such as Teams.
Your Key Responsibilities:
As a minimum, reading drawings and symbols, selecting material, marking steel, measuring materials (e.g. steel, alu, S/S, etc), cutting or bending as required, assemble and tack up, checking work, welding following WPS, dimensional control and final cleaning; all in accordance with instructions and approved codes of practice.
Safe operation of machinery, hand tools, lifting and transport equipment and ensure job materials and equipment are correctly used. Raise requisition for consumable items and any other shortfall materials. Complete required administration for your work. Report and present work to supervisor. Clean up your work location when your works are accepted.
Candidate require a clean driver licence and provide their own daily transport to work.

Salary range is between £18 – £20 per hour depending on experience.
- Good understanding of engineering drawings
- Good understanding of weld symbols
- Must be skilled GMAW, FCAW, MMA
- Skilled GTAW preferred but not essential
- Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team
- Good communication skills
- Ability to prioritise
