Production Packer
Location: Llangefni, Anglesey (with relocation to Gaerwen in the coming months)
Salary: £21,480 per annum
Hours: Monday to Friday, 10:00am – 5:00pm (30-minute unpaid break)
Break: 30-minute unpaid break daily
About the Role
We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Production Packer to join our bakery team. Initially based at our Llangefni site, this role will relocate to our production facility in Gaerwen within the next few months, so applicants must be willing and able to travel to both locations.
This is a hands-on role within a busy bakery environment, involving the packing, labelling, quality checking and preparation of products ready for distribution.
Key Responsibilities
- Packing cakes into packaging and U-cards.
- Operating packing machinery safely and efficiently.
- Labelling finished products accurately.
- Carrying out quality checks to ensure products meet company standards.
- Managing stock rotation and maintaining product freshness.
- Ensuring work areas are kept clean and organised.
- Following food safety, hygiene and health & safety procedures at all times.
- Once production has moved to Gaerwen, packing a wider range of products including baps, pies and other bakery items.
- Picking customer orders for next-day deliveries.
- Assisting with general production and packing duties as required.
About You
- Reliable, punctual and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Good attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Able to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Comfortable with manual handling and being on your feet for extended periods.
- Previous food production or packing experience is desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided.
- Must be able to commute to both Llangefni and, following the site move, Gaerwen.
