Equans currently has an exciting opportunity for a full-time Station Reception Officer to join our operational team at Sutton Police Station. This is a permanent full-time shift based position working an average of 40 hours per week on a continental shift pattern: Mon to Fri:10:00 to 22:00 and Sat & Sun: 09:00 to 19:00 - 2on 2off 3on 2off 2on 3off

What will you deliver?

Reports to Facilities & Services Manager
Providing an efficient first point of contact for members of the public
Answer calls promptly and clearly before re-routing callers accordingly
Operate computer systems accurately to record enquires
Receive and administer property
To be responsible for the security, safety and tidiness of the station reception areas
Working an average of 40 hours per week on a continental shift pattern: Mon to Fri:10:00 to 22:00 and Sat & Sun: 09:00 to 19:00, 2on 2off 3on 2off 2on 3off
May be required to provide occasional cover at other sites within SE London

Who are we looking for?

Educated to GCSE level or equivalent with a good standard of written/spoken English
Diligent customer service attitude
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Good IT skills
Subject to security vetting by the Metropolitan Police
