Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Welder Fabricator to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for constructing, assembling, and welding metal components with precision and efficiency. Your expertise in various welding techniques and fabrication processes will be essential in creating high-quality products that meet safety standards and client specifications. Responsibilities
- Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications to determine project requirements.
- Use TIG welding, MiG welding, and other welding techniques to join metal parts accurately.
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment safely and effectively to cut, shape, and assemble sheet metal components.
- Measure materials precisely using basic math skills to ensure proper fit and alignment during assembly.
- Fabricate custom parts by cutting, bending, welding, and assembling sheet metal according to project needs.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot fabrication issues and improve processes for efficiency and quality.
Ideal applicant would be someone recently time served/ somebody with at least 3 years experience.
Experience
- Proven experience in MiG & TIG welding and welding techniques within a manufacturing or fabrication setting.
- Strong mechanical knowledge of tools, equipment, and fabrication methods.
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment used in metal fabrication projects.
- Ability to read technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics with attention to detail.
- Basic math skills for measuring materials accurately and performing simple calculations related to fabrication tasks.
- Prior experience in assembly processes involving metal components is preferred but not required.

Pay: £15.00-£18.75 per hour
