Full job description

Overview

Torksey Caravans Limited is looking for a Finance Assistant to join our friendly team on a permanent, part-time basis.

This is a varied role within a busy caravan and leisure business and would suit someone who is organised, reliable and enjoys working with numbers. Previous experience in a finance or accounts role would be an advantage, but we are happy to consider someone with the right skills and attitude.

Duties

Processing purchase and sales invoices
Posting and allocating financial transactions
Bank and supplier statement reconciliations
Assisting with supplier payments
Maintaining accurate financial records
Assisting with month-end and year-end processes
General finance and administrative duties
Liaising with customers, suppliers and colleagues when required

Experience/Skills

Organised, reliable and methodical
Strong attention to detail with excellent organisational skills
Confident working with numbers
Comfortable working with Microsoft Excel
Able to work independently and manage own workload
Ability to communicate clearly and work collaboratively within a team
Friendly and professional
Previous accounts/finance experience would be beneficial
Experience of Xero would be useful but is not essential, as training can be provided for the right candidate.
