We deliver residential refurbishments across South Wales. Our projects run at a fast pace with tight deadlines, so we need people who can work confidently and quickly, keep standards high, and help drive the job forward on site.
The Role
We’re looking for a senior multi trader to join the on-site team. You’ll be hands-on across every stage of the refurbishment, and you’ll often be one of the lead operatives on site—following schedules, keeping progress moving, and instructing other team members on what needs doing across the whole job (not just your own trade).
You won’t be pricing jobs, ordering materials, or running around for supplies—materials are ordered and delivered. You’ll be left to get on with the work.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead by example on site: follow schedules, coordinate tasks, and keep quality and pace up
- Full refurb involvement: rip-outs, prep, making good, snagging, finishing, external/garden tasks, and basic drainage-related tasks when required
- Tiling (100% essential): wall & floor tiling, set-out, cuts, trims, grout and clean finishing
- Bathroom experience required: confident with bathroom refurbs and basic plumbing knowledge (wastes, traps, connecting sanitaryware) — no need to be a qualified plumber
- Keep work areas clean, safe and organised; communicate progress/issues clearly
Essential Requirements
- Proven experience as a multi trader on refurb projects
- Strong tiler (must be confident and consistent)
- Basic plumbing knowledge for bathroom works (not qualified, but competent)
- Comfortable acting as a site leader: able to direct others and keep a job moving
- Own transport essential (van not required, but beneficial)
- Reliable, punctual, tidy, and able to work to deadlines
Highly Beneficial
- Plastering ability (big advantage)
- Van and own tools (not essential, but beneficial)
- Any additional trade experience (carpentry, patching, externals etc.)
- Electrical awareness/experience is a bonus (no electrical works required)
Tools, Transport & Fuel
- Tools can be provided to complete the job, but own tools are beneficial
- You won’t be required to collect materials often; if you ever do need to pick something up, fuel can be covered
