Do you enjoy helping customers and have a passion for toys, games and gifts? Our Toys Department is looking for an enthusiastic and friendly individual to join the team.

We're looking for someone who enjoys working in a busy retail environment and takes pride in creating attractive displays and delivering excellent customer service. If you have a positive attitude, enjoy engaging with customers of all ages, and don't mind getting hands-on with deliveries and merchandising, you could be our next Toys Assistant.

Department: Toys

Contract: Part time

Hours: 22.5 hours per a week

Key Responsibilities and Duties:

Replenishing, merchandising and maintaining stock to ensure the department is well presented at all times.
Checking, receiving and unpacking deliveries efficiently and safely.
Providing excellent customer service by assisting customers with product enquiries.
General housekeeping of the department and ensuring our retail standards are met.
Ensuring that all the products are correctly priced, clearly marked and displayed safely.
Opportunities to assist and learn in other areas of the business
Assisting with seasonal department changes and promotional displays.
Supporting colleagues and assisting in other areas of the business when required.

Key Skills and Competencies:

You are enthusiastic and approachable
You are willing to develop and learn
Excellent customer service skills
Good communication skills
Able to work both individually and part of a team
Previous experience within retail
A positive can-do attitude.
