Job Overview
We are seeking a talented Junior CAD Designer to join our creative team. This role offers an exciting opportunity for individuals passionate about digital design and visual communication. The successful candidate will assist in developing detailed CAD drawings and visual concepts for a variety of projects, supporting our design department in delivering innovative solutions. This paid position is ideal for recent graduates or emerging designers eager to expand their skills within a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

Create precise CAD drawings and models using industry-standard software such as AutoCAD and SketchUp.
Assist in developing digital designs for architectural, product, or graphic projects.
Support the team with web design elements, including HTML and CSS coding.
Contribute to graphic design tasks, including layout and visual content creation using Adobe Photoshop, Adobe InDesign, and Adobe Illustrator.
Collaborate on multimedia projects by employing Adobe After Effects and Maya for animation and 3D modelling.
Incorporate photography into design projects to enhance visual storytelling.
Ensure all designs adhere to project specifications, branding guidelines, and technical standards.
Maintain organised files of drawings, images, and project documentation for easy access and revision.

Skills

Proficiency in digital design tools such as SketchUp, CAD software, and Sketch.
Strong knowledge of graphic design programmes including Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
Experience with web development languages such as HTML and CSS is desirable.
Familiarity with 3D modelling software like Maya and animation tools such as Adobe After Effects.
Basic understanding of photography principles to enhance visual content.
Ability to communicate ideas clearly through sketches, diagrams, and digital visuals.
Organised with excellent attention to detail to produce accurate technical drawings and creative assets.
A proactive learner with a passion for innovative design solutions. This position provides a valuable platform for aspiring designers to develop their technical skills while contributing to engaging projects across multiple media platforms.

Pay: £20,420.00-£30,472.42 per year
