Full job description

This is a fast-paced job role, where the Customer Service Advisor will effectively handle customer orders, as well as dealing with complaints and issues.

Job Summary / Key Responsibilities:

Work closely with the sales and production teams to improve the customer experience.
Provide support to, and deputise for, the ‘order co-ordination’ process to improve overall effectiveness.

· Ensure all EPICOR data entry is accurate and completed within the required timescales.

· Be responsible for any order changes from original order receipt.

· Ensure any date changes and order confirmations are provided to customers.

· Review customer requirements and execute plans to achieve OTIF performance criteria.

· Provide customers with ETA’s and also with delivery reports for the coming week/s.

· Provide feedback to customers where OTIF isn’t possible due to production issues.

· Where necessary provide support to the order processing team during high workload periods.

· Provide continued support to the ‘Transport Issue Log’ process by resolving issues.

· Improving service offering - innovating and evolving systems, processes & procedures.

· Knowledge share good practice within and between teams through proactive, positive contact.

· Grow technical knowledge by attending educational theory and practical workshops and regularly review technical literature.

· Ensure all work complies with the CA Group QMS system.

Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

Experience in the use of ERP/MRP Systems and Microsoft Office applications.
The ability to work at speed whilst maintaining attention to detail.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent interpersonal skills.
Patience and the ability to remain calm in stressful situations.
Sales and persuasive skills.
