Full job description

We are recruiting this Spring ready for a busy year ahead. We are looking for new members to join our growing team.

Located on the A66, 4 miles west of Scotch Corner, North Yorkshire (easy access to A1), Mainsgill Farm Shop and Tearoom is an award winning, flagship business. Our busy tearoom serves freshly prepared food made all on site using our home-reared meats and quality ingredients.

Candidates require to be able to work within in a team and well with others. Must enjoy working in a busy environment.

Duties to include keeping work areas clean at all times, washing up from tea room and kitchen, taking clean crockery through to serving area and any other related tasks as required.

Full time: 5 days

Summary

As a Kitchen Porter, you will be an essential part of our culinary team, responsible for maintaining cleanliness and organization in the kitchen. Reporting to the managerial team, your role will involve assisting with cooking tasks, and ensuring that all kitchen equipment is properly cleaned and stored. Join us to support our mission of delivering exceptional dining experiences through teamwork and dedication.

Qualifications

Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Excellent teamwork and communication skills
A background in hospitality and serving is a plus
