Due to continued growth, we are looking for an experienced and motivated Welder/Fabricator to join our team on a permanent basis.

The Role
As a Welder/Fabricator, you will be responsible for carrying out fabrication, welding, repair, and modification work on HGVs, trailers, waste management equipment, and bespoke engineering projects.
Working across our Doncaster and Leeming Bar depots, you will play an important role in supporting our operational fleet while contributing to a variety of custom fabrication projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Fabrication and welding of components for HGVs, trailers, and waste management equipment
- Manufacture and assembly of bespoke products to operational and customer requirements
- Carry out structural repairs, modifications, and refurbishment work
- Read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications accurately
- Ensure all work is completed to high standards of quality, safety, and workmanship
- Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment
- Work independently and manage workloads effectively
- Support fabrication and maintenance requirements across both depot locations when required
Candidate RequirementsEssential
- Proven experience in welding and fabrication
- Strong MIG welding and general fabrication skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Experience producing bespoke fabrication projects from drawings or specifications
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Strong problem-solving skills and proactive approach to work
- Full UK Driving Licence
Desirable
- Experience working within the commercial vehicle, transport, trailer, engineering, or waste management sectors
- Additional welding qualifications or fabrication certifications
