Overview
We are seeking a friendly, proactive and enthusiastic Hair Salon Assistant to support our dynamic team. This role involves delivering exceptional customer service, assisting with salon operations and providing support to stylist's and guest's alike. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a keen eye for detail and a passion for the hair industry. This paid position offers valuable experience in a vibrant salon environment, with opportunities to develop skills across various hair services and store managment.

Duties

Greet guests warmly and ensure a welcoming atmosphere upon arrival
Assist stylists with preparation of tools and products fro services
Prepare salon ready for guests arrival and complete end of day duties ready for the following day
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards across the salon environment
Assist with front of house duties, including processing payments and handling client records
Provide assistance with specialised services when required
Upsell retail products and additional services to maximise guest satisfaction and sales
Manage stock levels, organise product displays
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times

Experince

Experience working in a salon environment is esstential, training will be provided for specific salon procedures
Previous experince in customer service or retail environment considered
strong communication skills with the ability to build a rapport with guests and team members
A proactive attitude with organisation skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently

This position offers an excellent opportunity to grow within the hairdressing industry while gaining hand on experince supporting a busy salon team.

Pay: £8.00-£12.71 per hour
