Shaikh Solicitors is a dedicated criminal law firm committed to providing expert legal support and guidance. We are currently seeking a proactive and organized Office Administrator to join our team and ensure the smooth operation of our office environment.

Job Summary

As an Office Administrator, you will play a vital role in managing daily administrative tasks, maintaining efficient office workflows, and supporting our legal team. Your energetic approach and attention to detail will help create a productive and welcoming workplace, ensuring all administrative functions are handled with professionalism and precision.

Responsibilities

Manage front desk operations, including greeting visitors and handling phone inquiries with excellent phone etiquette
Perform data entry tasks accurately using Microsoft Office, Google Workspace.
Organize and maintain filing systems, both digital and physical, to ensure easy retrieval of documents
Assist with scheduling appointments, meetings, and maintaining calendars for staff members
Handle incoming and outgoing correspondence, including emails and postal mail
Support bookkeeping activities by managing invoices, receipts, and expense reports
Coordinate office supplies procurement to ensure the office is well-stocked at all times

Requirements

Proven office experience with strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Proficiency in computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook), Google Workspace (Gmail, Drive)
Previous administrative experience demonstrating clerical skills such as data entry and document management
Excellent phone etiquette with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally
Strong typing skills for efficient document processing
Knowledge of general office procedures and familiarity with clerical tasks
Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment
Knowledge of working with Crown Court Digital Case System, Common Platform, Egress and CJSM.
