About the Role
We’re looking for a motivated Semi‑Senior Accountant to join our supportive team. You’ll work with a diverse range of clients, preparing accounts and managing tax and bookkeeping tasks with confidence and care.

Key Responsibilities
- Accounts to Trial Balance — Prepare accurate accounts for a variety of clients
- Personal Tax Returns — Complete and submit personal tax returns
- Bookkeeping — Maintain client records and reconcile accounts
- VAT Returns — Prepare and file VAT returns
- CIS Returns — Process CIS submissions and verify subcontractors
- Travel Between Offices — Work across Ossett and Barnsley as required

About You
- AAT Level 4 qualified (or equivalent)
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in an accountancy practice
- Confident with bookkeeping, VAT, CIS & personal tax
- Familiar with accounting software (Xero, QuickBooks, Sage)
- Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel
