Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive and energetic 18+ barback to support our busy bar team. The ideal candidate will assist in maintaining a clean and organised bar environment, ensuring smooth service during busy hours. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a passion for hospitality to develop their skills within a dynamic setting. The barback will play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer experiences by supporting bartenders and ensuring the bar area remains fully stocked and hygienic.

Duties

Restock bar supplies, including glasses, garnishes, and beverages, to ensure seamless service
Assist bartenders with preparing ingredients and basic food items as needed
Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, including cleaning glasses, utensils, and work surfaces
Monitor stock levels throughout the shift and communicate replenishment needs to management
Ensure all health and safety standards are adhered to at all times
Provide friendly and efficient assistance to customers when required
Collaborate with team members to create a welcoming environment for guests

Requirements

Previous experience in hospitality, late night bars, or restaurant environments is desirable but not essential
Knowledge of bar operations, serving procedures, or hotel experience is advantageous
Strong communication skills and a friendly demeanour are essential for engaging with customers and team members
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
Enthusiasm for hospitality and delivering excellent customer service
Flexibility to work during evenings, weekends, or busy periods as required
