Job Title: General Builder / Bricklayer

Location: Doncaster
Employment Type: Full-time / Self-employed
Salary: Competitive – dependent on experience

Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced General Builder / Bricklayer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate must have strong experience in domestic building work and not just large construction site experience.

This role requires someone with a broad knowledge of multiple areas of the building trade and the ability to carry out high-quality work across residential projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Carry out bricklaying to a high standard (extensions, garden walls, repairs, etc.)
Work on domestic projects including extensions, refurbishments, structural alterations, and renovations
Undertake general building tasks when required
Read and work from drawings and building plans
Ensure all work is completed safely and in line with building regulations
Maintain high standards of workmanship and site cleanliness
Work independently or as part of a team

Requirements:

Proven experience in domestic construction projects (not just site work)
Strong bricklaying skills with the ability to complete full builds and structural work
Good all-round knowledge of the building industry (groundworks, structural work, steels, drainage, etc.)
Ability to problem solve and work independently
Reliable, punctual, and professional
Must hold a full UK driving licence
Must be local to Doncaster or surrounding areas

Qualifications:

NVQ Level 2 in Bricklaying (minimum) – essential
NVQ Level 3 or higher preferred
Valid CSCS card

Application Requirements:

Copies of qualifications (NVQ Level 2 or above) must be provided with the application

Pay: £180.00-£200.00 per day
