Production Operative

SCH Services Ltd – Barnsley S70 6BF

£12.71 - £13.25 per hour (depending on experience)

Permanent | Full Time | 36 Paid Hours Per Week

Working Hours

Monday to Thursday: 7:30am - 3:30pm
Friday: 7:30am - 2:00pm

Join Our Team

SCH Services Ltd is a specialist provider of conformal coating and parylene coating services for the electronics industry. We work with customers across a wide range of industries where quality, reliability and attention to detail are essential.

We are looking for a reliable, enthusiastic and practical person to join our growing production team as a Production Operative.

No previous coating or electronics experience is required. Full training will be provided.

If you enjoy practical, hands-on work, take pride in producing high-quality work and have a good eye for detail, we'd like to hear from you.

What You'll Be Doing

Following full training, you'll be involved in a variety of production activities including:

Preparing electronic assemblies for processing
Masking and demasking printed circuit boards (PCBs)
Applying specialist conformal coatings
Carrying out visual inspections
Following customer specifications and work instructions
Completing production paperwork
Maintaining high standards of quality and housekeeping
Working safely and as part of a close-knit production team

Every product we process is different, making this an interesting role where attention to detail is important.

Has excellent attention to detail
Enjoys practical, hands-on work
Takes pride in producing quality work
Is reliable and punctual
Is willing to learn new skills
Can follow written instructions accurately
Works well both independently and as part of a team
Has a positive attitude

Previous manufacturing, production or electronics experience would be beneficial but is not essential.
