A hands-on role at the heart of Cidon's digital transformation, with a clear path to grow into one of the most interesting technology roles in the business.
About Cidon
Cidon Construction is a specialist civil engineering and reinforced concrete contractor delivering complex structures and heavy civil engineering projects across the UK. We work with Tier 1 and Tier 2 contractors across the commercial, residential, infrastructure and Energy from Waste sectors, and we are proud of the standards we set on every project.
We're growing, and as part of that growth, we're investing seriously in how we use technology to run the business. That's where this role comes in.
The Opportunity
Cidon is in the middle of a multi-year digital transformation programme that will reshape the way we work as the business grows. We have an external Microsoft technology partner supporting us with the more complex pieces, but we want to build genuine capability in-house so that over time we can run more of it ourselves.
This is the role created to do exactly that. You'll start by supporting our IT, and Marketing functions day-to-day, and you'll grow quickly into someone who can shape the way Cidon uses technology across the business.
If you're genuinely curious about technology, enjoy working with people, and want to learn by doing alongside experienced professionals, this is an unusually good opportunity.

- Helping to administer our digital tools and the way we collaborate across the business.
- Looking after laptops, mobile devices, and user set-up.
- Keeping our website fresh and managing content across LinkedIn and our other channels.
- Producing project updates, case studies, and internal announcements.
- Helping us keep good cyber security habits across the business.
Growing into
- Working alongside experienced colleagues and external specialists to deliver digital workflows and applications that replace manual ways of working.

- Becoming the internal go-to person for our digital tools and ways of working.
- Co-leading the adoption of new technology and AI across the business.
- Taking on more responsibility, with a clear progression path into a more senior digital systems role.
About you
We're not expecting you to walk in with all of this on day one. We're looking for someone who:
- Is genuinely interested in technology and how it can make a business work better.
- Likes solving problems for people and is happy to be the friendly face who helps colleagues get things working.
- Is well organised, communicates clearly, and is comfortable juggling small tasks alongside longer projects.
- Wants to learn fast by self-study, asking questions, and getting hands-on.
- Has some grounding in Microsoft 365, and ideally a bit of exposure to Power Apps, Power Automate, SharePoint, Power BI or similar tools.
- Has the right to work in the UK.
You might be currently studying for, or have recently completed, a degree, apprenticeship or qualification in IT, Business Systems, Digital Technologies, Computer Science, Marketing, Construction Management, or something related. You might also be self-taught and looking for the right first step. Either route works for us.
What we offer
