£29,064 - £31,022 per annum | Full Time | Permanent
Torridge District Council is looking to recruit two enthusiastic and customer-focused officers to join our Benefits and Revenues teams.
In these roles, you will support the delivery of vital Council services including:
· Council Tax billing, collection and recovery
· Housing Benefit and Council Tax Support assessment
· Applying discounts and exemptions
· Responding to customer enquiries
· Processing payments and instalment arrangements
· Assisting with enforcement and recovery action
Attention to detail and the ability to understand and apply complex legislation are essential. We pride ourselves on delivering an excellent service, so strong communication, customer service, and organisational skills are key. Applicants should be able to work well under pressure, meet deadlines, and remain professional, courteous and resilient at all times. Relevant experience is desirable; however full training will be provided.
