Cleaner (Part-Time / Full-Time)

Overview

We are seeking dedicated Cleaners to join our team at our new care home, which is opening soon. This is a great opportunity to become part of a brand-new team and help establish high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and comfort for our residents from day one.

We are recruiting for both part-time and full-time positions, offering flexible working arrangements depending on availability.

The ideal candidates will be reliable, hardworking, and detail-oriented, with a strong commitment to maintaining a clean and safe environment. This is a paid position suitable for individuals looking to build experience in the cleaning and facilities sector.

Responsibilities

Clean bedrooms, offices, washrooms, corridors, and communal areas to a high standard
Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and disinfect all surfaces regularly
Replenish supplies such as soap, toilet paper, and paper towels
Dispose of waste safely and in line with health and safety procedures
Follow cleaning schedules and care home hygiene standards at all times
Use cleaning equipment and chemicals safely and responsibly (COSHH compliance)
Report any maintenance issues, damages, or hazards to management
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of storage and cleaning areas

Requirements

Previous cleaning or housekeeping experience is desirable but not essential
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong attention to detail and high standards of cleanliness
Reliable, punctual, and professional attitude
Ability to perform physical tasks such as standing, bending, and lifting
Basic understanding of health and safety procedures

Additional Information

We are hiring 2–3 staff members for this role
Both part-time and full-time positions available
Full training will be provided where required
Paid position with supportive working environment
