LOLER Inspector – Lifting Equipment
Location: Gloucester (covering the whole of Gloucestershire)
Type: Full-time, permanent | Start: ASAP

What you’ll do

Carry out LOLER Thorough Examinations on lifting equipment, cranes, hoists and accessories at client sites across Gloucestershire.
Produce clear, concise inspection reports/certificates and advise customers on any defects or remedial actions.
Give practical safety-first guidance to clients and colleagues, helping them stay compliant.
Plan and manage your own workload, liaising directly with customers and representing the company on site.
(If you have the background or interest) assist our workshop team with servicing, repairs and proof-load testing.

What we’re looking for

Essential

Proven experience performing LOLER inspections independently and confidently on client sites.
Strong understanding of lifting equipment, cranes, hoists and accessories.
Great customer manner — friendly, reliable and professional.
Accurate, timely paperwork habits (reports, job sheets, certs).
Full UK driving licence.

Desirable

LEEA / NVQ / apprenticeship or similar relevant qualification.
IPAF / PASMA / CSCS cards.
Electrical or hydraulic fault-finding experience.
