About the role
We're looking for a highly organised, safety-conscious professional with hands-on-food or drink processing experience to take ownership of our pilot plant facility. You'll be the go-to-person for keeping the equipment running safely, compliantly, and ready for action, supporting our Product Innovation team and our clients every step of the way.
What you'll be doing
- Owning health & safety, quality and food safety systems, including training and ongoing compliance monitoring
- Managing calibration and servicing schedules for 50+ pieces of equipment (internal and external)
- Coordinating contractors, raising purchase orders, and managing site visits and documentation
- Auditing housekeeping, ingredient storage and GMP standards across all areas
- Acting as the main point of contact for pest control, PAT testing, water testing and FES liaison
- Supporting project teams with hands-on work, paperwork sign-off and client-facing activity
What you'll bring
- Educated to at least A-level standard
- HACCP Level 3 or above
- Solid knowledge of quality management systems
- Practical, hands-on experience operating food processing equipment
- Strong organisational skills, comfortable juggling multiple priorities and shifting deadlines
- Confident communication skills, able to influence stakeholders

Pay: £35,000.00-£40,000.00 per year
