Overview

Join our dynamic legal support team as a Paralegal Assistant, where your enthusiasm and organizational prowess will help streamline legal processes and enhance client service. In this vital role, you will assist fee earners with case management, document preparation, and administrative tasks, ensuring smooth operations within a fast-paced legal environment. Your proactive approach and attention to detail will contribute to delivering exceptional support to our legal professionals and clients alike.

Duties

Assist with preparing legal documents, including contracts, and correspondence, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant laws and procedures
Organize and maintain case files, records, and legal documentation for easy retrieval and audit readiness
Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to client inquiries and coordinating communication between clients and legal staff
Support administrative functions such as scheduling meetings, managing calendars, and handling incoming calls and emails
Collaborate with team members to track deadlines, and document submissions to ensure timely case progression
Perform general office duties.

Skills

Strong analysis skills to interpret legal documents and case information effectively
Excellent customer service abilities to engage professionally with clients.
Prior administrative experience in a legal or professional setting is highly desirable
Exceptional organizational skills to manage multiple cases, deadlines, and documentation efficiently
Proficiency in office software applications such as Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team environment
Attention to detail ensures accuracy in all tasks undertaken

We are a registered training establishment and applications will be considered for this role from law graduates seeking a future training contract. A training contract will be considered for the appointee demonstrating the necessary abilities and aptitude after a few years in the advertised role.
