Full job description

Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accountant to join our finance team. In this vital role, you will manage core accounting functions, ensure accurate financial record-keeping, and support the organization’s financial health. Your expertise will help streamline processes, maintain compliance, and provide insightful financial analysis to guide decision-making. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a growing organization.

Responsibilities included but are not limited to:-

· Prepare and analyse monthly management accounts and financial reports

· Maintain ledgers, journals and accounting systems

· Manage vat returns and submissions

· Bank reconciliations

· Maintain healthy cash flow, and manage payments to suppliers.

· Strong bookkeeping and accounting knowledge

· Strong understanding of job costings, with Excel and data analysis skills

· Assist with year end accounts preparation and audit processes

· Have good communication and organisational skills both written and verbal, and be able to multitask

· Be able to meet deadlines accurately
