Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Plumber to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems in commercial and residential properties. This role requires a strong understanding of plumbing principles, mechanical knowledge, and the ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team. The position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with hands-on experience in plumbing and related trades to develop their careers within a professional environment.

Responsibilities

Installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems including pipes, fixtures, and appliances.
Reading and interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
Using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and carpentry skills to complete tasks accurately.
Conducting routine inspections to identify potential issues and prevent future problems.
Performing heavy lifting of materials and equipment safely to ensure efficient workflow.
Applying mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot complex plumbing problems effectively.
Ensuring all work complies with relevant health and safety regulations.
Assisting with the assembly of plumbing components and systems as required.
Operating commercial vehicles for transportation of materials or equipment when necessary.

Experience

Proven experience in plumbing or related trades such as carpentry or mechanical work is preferred.
Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and assembly techniques.
Knowledge of plumbing codes, safety standards, and best practices within the industry.
Ability to perform basic maths calculations for measurements and estimations.
Experience with heavy lifting and manual labour tasks associated with plumbing projects.
Valid driving licence suitable for commercial driving is advantageous but not mandatory. This role is ideal for motivated individuals eager to apply their technical skills in a dynamic environment while contributing to high-quality project outcomes.

Pay: £15.00-£20.00 per hour
